BOARDING
Choosing to Board Your Pet
For many pet owners choosing to keep their pet in a boarding facility is more stressful to them, than their pet. However situations occur when you must board your pet. During these times be assured that we will do our best to give your pet the care and attention you expect.
We have trained professionals on staff to care for your pet and of course five veterinarians, should your pet need any medical attention. We have seperate rooms for the dog and cat kennels and larger runs for large breed dogs. Our veterinary assistants walk the dogs multiple times through out the day.
All pets that are boarding have to have current vaccinations. If you have had your pets vaccines done at another hospital we will require records to be faxed or written proof of vaccination.
Medical Problems
Any special medical problems or dietary requirements will be looked after during your pet's stay with us. We have three Registered Veterinary Technicians on staff who will tend to and ensure your pet recieves their correct medication and dosage.
Flea Prevention
Because we are a veterinary hospital, we see many healthy pets, as well as many sick pets. If your pet is brought into the hospital with fleas they put other pets at risk. Fleas can cause potentially serious health problems such as flea allergy dermatitis, skin infections, tapeworm infestations, and even anemia. If your pet is not on a flea control or prevention product they run the risk of getting fleas and infesting your home.
If your pet is not on a flea control or prevention product we will apply a single dose of topical Advantage to your pet that will last 30 days.
