Time can make the difference for certain cases requiring ECG, radiography or ultrasound consultation. We have easy access to specialists (cardiologists, radiologists, internists and criticalists) who provide timely consultations.
Routine ECG
Routine ECG's can indentify potential problems. Specialists give us diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, including specific recommendations for treatment, future management and likely future progression as well as recommendations for additional testing.
Preanesthetic Screen ECG
Preanesthetic screen ECG's include risk assessment for anesthesia and a dicussion of anesthesia management as well as recommendations for further testing.
If needed, ECG's can be done on an emergency 'STAT' basis, where interpretation by a specialist is almost immediate.
