We are pleased to announce the addition of a state-of-the-art digital radiography system. Our new digital x-ray unit reduces the turnaround for radiographs which allows us to more quickly diagnose problems and allows for a more rapid treatment response.
Our new system benefits your pet by providing improved diagnostic capacity with better imaging, enlargement capabilities and computer enhancements such as measurement and notation. It benefits our staff by providing increased safety! The new system works with a faster exposure time that reduces the stray radiation for your pets and our staff. By applying digital algorithms to the radiographs we can replicate different techniques resulting in the perfect image on the first take.
The new system is also better for the environment. Now, thanks to our conversion to digital x-ray, we no longer use the harmful chemicals associated with standard x-ray development.
By converting to digital x-ray we are also able to provide our clients with CD copies of their pet's x-rays or have Board Certified Radiologists review x-rays from our hospital when necessary. Next time your pet is in need of x-rays - feel free to ask us for a copy.
